My Beautiful Western Australia

Since returning to Western Australia in 1978 I have been increasing concerned what is happening to my beautiful WA. I will begin the talk by briefly summarising WA as it was in the 1960 to 1970’s. The 1980’s to 2010 saw major change in our life style, our economy and our physical and mental well being. Few of these changes were for the better, yet WA remains, to this day, the land of opportunity. We could, all from within WA, solve the global global warming problem, teach the world how to address the rising global suicide rate and be the richest entity in the world when fossil fuels become obsolete. The only question in my mind is “do we have the vision, the will and the energy to swim against the flow?” How can Rotary help?
