Rotary events:
With regret Harry the cook has put in his resignation to the Council from doing their Cooking. This means we will have to arrange for our own breakfasts again or we look at alternative venue. He will be available for or next meeting on the 16th.
Not sure if we are having a meeting on the 30th. TBA
 
Webinars: Kero O'shea has produced some Membership webinars which will air on district web site.

Directors: Need to get Budgets to President and Treasurer by next Board Meeting 21st August 18

Guest Speakers:
All speakers were presented with small mementos of their visit to the club by President Ian Watson

Directors Reports:
Club Service/Vice President: Local cyclist riding around the world looking for additional funding. To be declined after discussion. PP. Rosinda to respond.
Governance Officer: Charities Licence submitted for approval just waiting on one Police Check renewal and 2016-17 Financials Audited to be supplied..
COC Mens Shed Inc: The Mens Shed has been completed and Formal Opening done now having a Friends and Supporters BBQ etc  on the 24th August 4pm to 7pm. Invites to follow. (Maybe a fellowship event for this month)
Treasurer:  Budgets required early new year from all the Directors for approval by the board
Foundation: Ray Swap Meet at Beeliar Shopping centre a go. Meetings ongoing but probably not starting until Spring. Requirement for a Traffic Report to be done by Council with one quote being $7500. Looking for cheaper and or Council waive.
Fellowship: Those who attended the Fellowship night at the Glen Iris Club was enjoyed and the food was great and reasonably priced.
Membership:  Business Cards available. In the Club cupboard.
Community:
Vocational: Diane chasing up schools regarding Literacy awards. 4Way Test schools being approached.
Youth: Disabilty Chair has been delivered and nearly ready for presentation. Will arrange for PR News. Youth Exchange shared in Jan-July 2019. Not happening now. 
Spring fair: Date advised as the 28th October 2018.
Curry Park Memorial; Discussions still going on with the Bibra Lake Community Assoc and the Mens Shed regarding re landscaping the Memorial of the early settlers (The Tapper Family)

Watto for being the closest to Tony Bullimore (deceased this week) Round the world sailor saved off the Sth Coast when his Yacht sank.
